School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (SAME) is an aviation training institute established under InterGlobe Education Services, part of the InterGlobe Group, and is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India under CAR-147 (Basic). Located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, SAME provides professional Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) training with a strong focus on practical learning, modern classrooms, and industry-oriented curriculum. The institute aims to develop skilled aircraft maintenance professionals by combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on training, preparing students for careers in airlines, MRO organisations, and the global aviation industry.
This stream of the CAR-147 Basic AME programme prepares students for the mechanical and structural maintenance of turbine-powered aircraft, including components like the airframe, gas turbine engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, landing gear and associated mechanical systems. Graduates are trained through a mix of classroom theory and hands-on practical training to meet DGCA regulatory requirements for aircraft maintenance engineers.
This stream focuses on the avionics and electrical systems of aircraft, covering areas such as aircraft instruments, communication/navigation systems, electrical power generation and distribution, and advanced avionics troubleshooting. The training follows the DGCA-approved CAR-147 syllabus, blending theoretical knowledge with practical lab work to prepare students for aircraft avionics maintenance roles.
