Amazing institute for helicopter and other aircraft maintenance engineering courses. Price is very reasonable and practical experience is given in the institute itself. Housing many aircraft and many helicopters, so practicals on real helicopters and real aircraft are guaranteed. I really appreciate the effort from the institute to keep students up to date and in compliance with the DGCA and every other regulating organisation in India.

The teaching staff here is well qualified. One of the most important things is that instead of being just a private college it has a lot of reputation among students because of the quality of education and infrastructure they are providing. Hostel facilities are also available here.

Infrastructure: a single building of four floors, a central AC seminar hall, a playground, good laboratory tools, good maintenance and big classrooms. Academics: the schedule is designed to cover maximum topics, faculty provide all required materials, and labs are held with projector explanation. Placements: opportunities are provided to almost every student, typically 3-4 lakhs and up to 5 lakhs. Campus life: a memorable place, located on the main highway near shops, hotels and markets.

What is the total fee at Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics, Gurgaon?
The institute publishes a total of Rs.6,95,000 for the 3-year AME course (CAT B1.1, B1.4 and B2) combined with B.Sc. (AME). Note that this is materially higher than the approximately Rs.3.8 lakh figure carried by several third-party college portals; the Rs.6,95,000 figure comes from IIAG's own published fee structure and supersedes them.
How is the Rs.6,95,000 broken down?
Admission fee Rs.50,000; books and uniform Rs.30,000; refundable caution fee Rs.15,000; tuition of Rs.85,000 per semester across six semesters, totalling Rs.5,10,000; and the B.Sc. (AME) graduation fee of Rs.90,000 payable at the time of university enrolment. The AMO practical training fee is NIL.
Why is there no practical training fee?
IIAG states that it does not charge a separate airline or AMO practical fee because training is carried out on the group's own fleet of aeroplanes, maintained by Jet Serve Aviation Pvt. Ltd. This is unusual - most AME institutes charge Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.1,80,000 extra for the CAR-147 practical component.
What does the hostel cost?
Hostel accommodation is optional at Rs.72,000 per semester. Caution money of Rs.15,000 for the institution and Rs.5,000 for the hostel is refundable on completion of the course.
Is IIAG DGCA approved?
Yes. It is a DGCA-approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering institute under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.
What is the eligibility for AME at IIAG?
Age 17 to 30, and 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or a 3-year engineering diploma. The B.Sc. plus AME and B.Tech plus AME pathways require 10+2 with PCM.
Is there an entrance exam?
Yes. AME applicants sit the AME Entrance Examination (AMEEE): 100 objective questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, available in English or Hindi, with no negative marking. Registration opens each January.
How do I apply, and what is the registration fee?
Apply through the institute's online admission portal with 10th and 12th marksheets, Aadhaar card, six passport photographs, and character, medical and transfer certificates as applicable. The registration fee is Rs.1,000.
Are scholarships or discounts available?
IIAG advertises a 5% discount for female students. Students from Bihar and Jharkhand can also use the Government Student Credit Card education loan scheme.
