The Academy of Aviation & Engineering (AAE), Bengaluru, established in 2004 under the Sha-Shib Group, is a premier aviation institute approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India, known for delivering high-quality technical education and industry-aligned training in aviation and engineering. Located close to Kempegowda International Airport and Yelahanka Air Force Station, AAE offers students direct exposure to real aviation environments, combining rigorous theory with hands-on practical experience using actual aircraft and specialised workshops. With a strong track record of excellent DGCA exam results, experienced faculty, modern facilities, and robust industry connections, AAE prepares students for successful careers in aircraft maintenance engineering, aeronautical engineering, aviation management, and related fields.
This 3-year DGCA-approved programme trains you in mechanical systems of turbine-powered aircraft — including airframes, engines, landing gear, hydraulics and more — combining classroom study with hands-on workshops and live aircraft practice. Graduates are prepared for airworthiness certification roles in airlines, MRO facilities and aviation support services.
A 3-year DGCA-approved course, this stream focuses on aircraft electrical and electronics systems — from power generation to navigation and communication systems — blending theory with practical avionics lab work and live aircraft diagnostics. Licenced B2 engineers can work in avionics departments of airlines and MROs.
