About us
School of Aeronautics (SOA), at Neemrana on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway (NH-8) in Rajasthan, is an aviation institute established in 1992. It is approved by the DGCA for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and approved by AICTE for its engineering degrees, and is affiliated to Bikaner Technical University.
SOA offers a DGCA-approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering programme structured as two years across four semesters totalling 2,400 hours of planned training, alongside B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, an integrated B.Tech (Aeronautical) + AME route, Mechatronics Engineering, and a Cabin Crew programme. Admission to the degree and AME programmes is through the institute's own SOACET entrance test.
The campus combines academic teaching with practical exposure through laboratories, live aircraft and workshops, and the institute has been recognised among the top aeronautical engineering colleges in India by CMAI.

Courses
Category B1.1 – Mechanical
Focuses on mechanical and structural aircraft maintenance, including airframe, turbine engines, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and other mechanical systems. Students are trained to inspect, troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems of aircraft, fulfilling requirements towards the DGCA AME Licence in the B1.1 stream.
Category B2 – Avionics
Covers aircraft avionics and electrical systems, including instruments, communication and navigation equipment, power generation/distribution and other avionics components. This stream trains students to handle electrical/electronic system maintenance and prepares them toward DGCA AME Licence in the avionics domain.
Cabin Crew course
The Cabin Crew course at School of Aeronautics is a professional aviation training program designed to prepare candidates for in-flight service roles. The course focuses on developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to handle passenger safety, in-flight emergencies, and customer service responsibilities. It emphasizes both safety training and hospitality aspects, ensuring students are equipped to manage real-life situations onboard while delivering excellent passenger experience.
B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering
A four-year AICTE-approved degree in aeronautical engineering with an intake of 120 seats, open to 10+2 candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics via the institute's SOACET entrance test.
