Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College (PAMEC) is a specialised aviation training institute located at the Civil Aerodrome on Sangrur Road in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was established by the Punjab Government in the early 1980s to provide ab-initio training in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) and is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. PAMEC also offers a three-year B.Sc. (Hons) in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, delivering both programmes concurrently with DGCA-approved syllabus standards.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
The AME Licence Course at Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College (PAMEC), Patiala is a DGCA-approved basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training programme conducted under CAR-147 (Basic). It prepares students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for aircraft maintenance and meets the regulatory requirements of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India, as well as ICAO and EASA standards for working with foreign airlines. The syllabus for the AME Licence closely aligns with the three-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course offered concurrently at the college.
Educational Qualification : Passed 10 + 2 (Class 12) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) OR a 3-year Diploma in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognised board/university.
Age Limit : Candidate should be below 24 years at the time of admission.
Medical Fitness : Candidates must be medically fit, with no colour vision or night vision defects.
