NFC is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Ministry of Civil Aviation India, and offers courses for Private Pilot Licence (PPL) & Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) as per DGCA & ICAO standards.
The main objective of the Club is to promote the art and science of flying and aeronautics. The aim of the Club is to train pilots for civil aviation and other ancillary flying services and to impart line-oriented flying training of very high standards, as per ICAO norms. The students are groomed thoroughly for their easy transition into the airline industry.
The Student Pilot License (SPL) course at Nagpur Flying Club is the foundational pilot training program approved by the DGCA that enables a student to begin flying lessons and build basic flying skills. It covers the initial aviation theory, practical flying familiarisation, and competency requirements to qualify for solo flight training and serves as the first step toward higher licences like the PPL and CPL.
The Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) course at Nagpur Flying Club is a DGCA-approved professional pilot training program that prepares students for a career as a commercial pilot. The training includes complete DGCA-mandated ground instruction, 200 hours of flying training, and flying theory, along with regulatory compliance such as DGCA exams, radio and language proficiencies, and licence documentation, to meet the requirements for CPL issuance in India.
The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) course at Nagpur Flying Club is a DGCA-approved pilot training program that prepares students with the required aviation theory and flying skills to operate light aircraft for personal or recreational flying. Training includes ground lectures covering the DGCA-specified syllabus, practical flight training, and exams/tests required by the Director General of Civil Aviation for licence issuance.
