The Banasthali Vidyapith Gliding and Flying Club (BVGFC) was established on January 9, 2009 at Banasthali University in Tonk, Rajasthan. The club offers gliding and flying classes, and uses the university's 50,191,418 sq. meter licensed airstrip for training. The club also has a 9,000 sq. ft. hangar with modern equipment that can accommodate more than a dozen aircraft.
The club has been part of Banasthali's learning program since the early 1960s, and was the first organization in India to offer helicopter training after independence. The club also offers a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science, and trains crew members and professionals to international standards.
