The Institute of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (IAME) in Aurangabad is a DGCA-approved aviation training institute committed to providing high-quality education in aircraft maintenance engineering and related aviation disciplines. Established to empower students with the technical skills needed for modern aviation careers, IAME emphasises a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical exposure through well-equipped laboratories, workshops, and live aircraft training. The institute prepares learners for regulatory examinations and professional roles in aircraft maintenance, safety compliance, and aerospace support services, helping them pursue careers in airlines, maintenance organisations (MROs), and other aviation sectors. With experienced faculty and industry-aligned curriculum, IAME works to develop competent aviation professionals ready to meet global aviation standards.
This AME stream prepares students for maintenance roles in turbine-powered aircraft, training them to perform maintenance on aircraft structures, gas turbine engines (jet engines), hydraulic and mechanical systems, and related aeronautical components. The curriculum comprises both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical sessions over four semesters to align with DGCA licence standards.
The B2 Avionics stream equips students with the skills to maintain and troubleshoot aircraft electrical, instrument and radio navigation systems, fostering competence in avionics diagnostics, instrumentation, communications and electrical systems as required for regulatory and airline maintenance environments. The training spans four semesters with classroom and hands-on workshop experiences.
