Founded in 2008, PFAPL began its journey with a dream to transform Indian aviation training. Since then, we’ve grown into one of the most esteemed aviation training institutions, approved to conduct training for Private Pilot Licenses (PPL), Commercial Pilot Licenses (CPL), and Airline Transport Pilot Licenses (ATPL).
We pride ourselves on adhering to the highest standards of safety and operational excellence, training over 1,000 pilots who now grace the skies worldwide. Over 16 years, we’ve become synonymous with innovation, dedication, excellence, and a passion for helping students achieve their aviation dreams.
An integrated CPL (IR-ME) training program combining ground school, simulator sessions, and flight training to meet DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) standards. Successful completion awards the Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) Rating, enabling you to work as a pilot-in-command for hire.
The CPL Ground Class is a theory-focused training program designed to prepare aspirants for the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) examinations conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). It covers core aviation subjects essential for passing DGCA written exams before advancing to flying training.
The Private Pilot License (PPL) program at Pioneer Flying Academy (DGCA-approved Flight Training Organisation) prepares students to fly aircraft as pilot-in-command (PIC) for non-commercial purposes. It includes theory and practical flight training as per DGCA regulations, covering essential aviation subjects and hands-on flying hours required for licence eligibility.
The ATPL Training program prepares advanced pilot-training candidates to meet the theoretical and experience requirements for the Airline Transport Pilot Licence — the highest level of pilot licence. This course focuses on advanced aeronautical knowledge and extensive flying experience needed to qualify for ATPL standards and pursue senior airline pilot roles.
A DGCA-approved Type Rating & MCC/JIT program designed to qualify licensed pilots to operate a specific commercial aircraft type (e.g., Airbus A320 or Boeing B737-NG). This advanced training integrates theory classes, advanced simulator sessions, MCC (Multi-Crew Co-operation), and Jet Induction Training (JIT) to develop operational skills for airline roles.
The Flight Instructor Course at Pioneer Flying Academy is a DGCA-approved professional training program designed for Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) holders who wish to become certified flight instructors. It teaches both technical knowledge and instructional skills needed to train future pilots, preparing candidates for DGCA Instructor Ratings such as the Assistant Flight Instructor Rating (AFIR) and Flight Instructor Rating (FIR).
The Multi-Engine Rating course enables a pilot holding a valid licence (typically a CPL or PPL) to fly multi-engine aircraft. It involves ground training and flight hours on multi-engine aeroplanes to meet DGCA requirements for the rating endorsement on your licence.
The CPL Renewal offering is a short training/validation package designed to help pilots whose Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is nearing expiry—or has expired—meet the DGCA currency and proficiency requirements. It typically includes checks and familiarisation flights that demonstrate recent flying experience to satisfy regulatory validity standards.
