About us

NFC is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Ministry of Civil Aviation India, and offers courses for Private Pilot Licence (PPL) & Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) as per DGCA & ICAO standards.

The main objective of the Club is to promote the art and science of flying and aeronautics. The aim of the Club is to train pilots for civil aviation and other ancillary flying services and to impart line-oriented flying training of very high standards, as per ICAO norms. The students are groomed thoroughly for their easy transition into the airline industry.

Yes. Nagpur Flying Club is a DGCA-approved flying training organization operating from Sonegaon Aerodrome (Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport), Nagpur, with an additional training base at Morwa Airport, Chandrapur.
The CPL course requires an admission payment of approximately ₹4,75,000 (registration ₹50,000, refundable security deposit ₹1,00,000, ground training with books ₹3,25,000), plus flying charges of ₹18,000–20,000/hour for 200 hours of flight training, payable in instalments. Rates are subject to change — confirm current fees directly with the club.
PPL ground training runs about 3 months with a minimum of 40 hours of flying. CPL requires 200 flying hours and typically takes around 18 months, assuming timely clearance of exams and medicals.
Minimum age is 16 for SPL, 17 for PPL/CPL training. Candidates need a 10th-standard (or equivalent) qualification — CPL additionally requires Mathematics and Physics — plus a Class II Medical to begin training (Class I required before licence issuance).
NFC's primary base is Sonegaon Aerodrome, Nagpur. It also trains at Morwa Airport, Chandrapur, adding flying-hour capacity — students may complete part of their flight training at either location.
