Hindustan Academy, established in 1986 by Dr. K.C. Samuel, is a reputed educational institution located in Bengaluru that offers quality education in Aviation, Engineering, Science, and Management. Guided by the philosophy that learning is an experience, the Academy operates through its key divisions — Hindustan Aviation Academy, Hindustan Electronics Academy, and Hindustan Business School — providing industry-oriented programs approved by bodies such as DGCA and AICTE. With experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, and a strong emphasis on practical training, Hindustan Academy prepares students with the technical expertise, discipline, and professional confidence required to succeed in competitive global industries.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) trains students to ensure the safety and airworthiness of aircraft — including aeroplanes and helicopters — by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and overhauls. At Hindustan Academy, the AME program includes DGCA-approved training in categories like B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine), B1.3 (Helicopter Turbine) and B2 (Avionics) and can be pursued alongside a B.Sc. Aircraft Maintenance degree affiliated with Bengaluru North University, expanding career opportunities in aviation engineering and technical roles. Practical training is delivered through partnerships with industry organisations such as IndiGo and Air Works India.
A full-time 3-year Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering provides foundational knowledge and practical skills in the design, construction, testing, operation and maintenance of aircraft — including commercial, military and aerospace systems. The program equips students for technical roles in aviation and also serves as a stepping stone for higher education in aeronautics or related engineering degrees.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation Management is a full-time undergraduate degree affiliated with Bengaluru North University that prepares students for careers in the business and management side of the aviation industry. The course covers core aviation business topics such as airline and airport operations, aviation law, air cargo and logistics, finance, marketing, customer service, safety & security, and strategic planning — helping students build leadership, analytical and decision-making skills for roles in airline management, airport operations, and aviation services.
