The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) approved course by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi is a DGCA-approved full-time program focused on training students in aircraft maintenance and technical operations. The course follows CAR 147 (Basic) regulations and uses the CAR 66 syllabus, preparing students for the B1.2 (Aeroplanes Piston) license category. The Drone Training program by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi is a DGCA-certified short-term course designed to train candidates as professional drone pilots (RPAS operators). Conducted in collaboration with Drone Destination, the program provides hands-on training at dedicated drone flying sites across India. It covers both theoretical and practical aspects such as drone regulations, flight operations, safety, and live flying practice, enabling candidates to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate and operate drones commercially in micro and small categories.
The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) program from ab-initio stage at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi is a comprehensive DGCA-aligned training pathway that takes students from beginner level to a fully qualified commercial pilot with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine endorsement. The course includes intensive ground training up to ATPL standard, simulator sessions, and 200 hours of flying training. Students progress through structured stages including SPL, FRTOL, and DGCA exams, gaining both theoretical knowledge and real-flight experience required for professional airline careers.
