Indian Flying Academy

Indian Flying Academy, operated by Shaurya Flight Sim Pvt Ltd, is a DGCA-approved Flight Training Organization based at Khajuraho Airport, Madhya Pradesh — set beside the Khajuraho UNESCO World Heritage Site. The academy holds a C+ DGCA rating, with its FTO approval valid through January 2029, and also carries provisional approval for a secondary training location at Moorwa Airfield.

Training is conducted on the Evektor SportStar RTC, a glass-cockpit light aircraft, from a controlled aerodrome — giving cadets real-time traffic exposure and RT (radio telephony) learning conditions rather than the uncontrolled airfields most Indian FTOs train from. The academy also cites Khajuraho's climate as an advantage, describing it as among the best in India for flying year-round, plus professional instrument-flying infrastructure (ILS, DVOR, NDB) and ICAO-standard runway/taxiway marking and lighting.

The integrated CPL program is priced at ₹40,00,000 total, covering 200 hours of ground classes, flying training, and licensing paperwork (SPL, FRTOL(R)). The academy is currently offering a 7% discount on total fees for its first 20 enrolled students, and includes uniform and an iPad-based flying kit at no extra charge.
