The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued an official public notice warning aviation exam candidates against fraudulent agents, brokers, and intermediaries who are misleading students on three key areas:
- Getting a Computer Number allotted
- Passing CPL / ATPL examination papers
- Clearing the RTR Practical examination
What the DGCA Notice Says
DGCA has made it clear that all examinations and the allotment of Computer Numbers are conducted in a completely transparent and fair manner. No agent, broker, or intermediary has any role or influence in these processes.
Candidates are being advised to:
- Ignore and avoid any individual or agency claiming they can help secure a Computer Number or pass exam papers
- Not pay money to any such intermediary under any circumstances
- Report any such approach directly to DGCA at: 📧 [email protected]
The notice also warns that strict action will be taken against any intermediary, agent, or broker found involved in such activities.
Why This Matters for Aspiring Pilots
For students preparing for their DGCA CPL or ATPL exams, this notice is an important reminder: there are no shortcuts. The Computer Number allotment process is handled entirely through the official Pariksha portal, and exam results are determined solely by candidate performance.
If anyone approaches you — online or offline — claiming they can “arrange” your Computer Number or guarantee exam success, that is a red flag and likely a scam. Do not engage, and report it immediately to DGCA.
How to Stay Safe
- Always use official DGCA portals only:
- Pariksha Portal: pariksha.dgca.gov.in
- eGCA Portal: egca.dgca.gov.in
- Never pay any third party for Computer Number allotment
- Verify information only through DGCA’s official website or social media handles
- Report suspicious activity to [email protected]
